Industrial  / Graphic / Interaction

Hello!

I’m Ferj, an Industrial Design graduate from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and currently a Design Manager at lululemon in Vancouver.

Growing up in the rural side of the Philippines, I was influenced by the simplest aspects of the everyday, as well as being surrounded by objects that strike the balance between necessity and solitary craftsmanship.
Having the opportunity to work on many projects in the intersection of art, design and technology from artifacts, editorials, books, brand identities and physical spaces has helped me understand the design process in different magnitudes and contexts.

Although I am eager and open to many challenges in design, I always strive to create meticulous, progressive and simple artifacts that help shape the future, as well as enable people to appreciate the simple nuances in the everyday.

The work above were conceptualized, designed and crafted on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish Nations of Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish.
